We will discuss how occupant load is calculated according to different codes, such as international building code, international fire code, and NFPA. Some fire protection systems need fire pumps to maintain an adequate water supply by increasing pressure for fire suppression. Faulty pump suction, malfunctioning valve alarms, or improperly operating relief valves can all contribute to failure of a fire pump and spell disaster. During this training, we will discuss the different types of fire pumps, and their inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements.

During this seminar, we will discuss types of sprinkler systems, and the types of facilities they are designed for. We will then delve into the NFPA requirements for inspection, testing, and maintenance of these important fire safety systems.
