At Ryan Fireprotection, we’re committed to elevating the industry and investing in future generations. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new partnership with Providence Cristo Rey High School through their Work Study Program! This initiative offers students the unique opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in the workplace, helping them develop professional skills and explore career possibilities in a real-world environment.
A few weeks ago, we welcomed Charley, a high school student from the program, who will be joining us one day a week throughout the school year. Each Thursday, Charley will be learning the ins and outs of our operations, guided by his mentor, Dawson Odle, one of our dedicated Project Managers and Orr Fellow. Dawson is helping Charley get acquainted with our processes and providing valuable insights into the fire protection industry. Additionally, several of our team leaders will be working alongside him to share their expertise and make this a rewarding learning experience.
Providence Cristo Rey’s Work Study Program is an incredible initiative designed to prepare students for the professional world. By participating in this program, students have the chance to explore career paths, build essential job skills, and experience a dynamic work environment.
We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our Director of Human Resources, Scott Whitaker, whose efforts were key in establishing this partnership. Scott’s dedication has made it possible for us to support Charley and contribute to this impactful program.
We are excited to watch Charley grow and thrive with us at Ryan Fireprotection, and we’re proud to be part of his journey!
